Juan Diego Falls

I had expected to get rained on.  After all, we were hiking in a rainforest.  But at El Yunque National Forest’s lower elevations, the only water we encountered was in the many waterfalls that seemed to splash alongside almost every trail.  Some “below fall” pools were popular local swimming holes.  This pool of water below Juan Diego Falls was more private but just as bracingly chilly!
