Yesterday we found Caesar Creek State Park near Waynesville, Ohio at about the halfway point in our back-to-college drive from Columbus. Zach and I walked along the gorge, a spillway and the clear blue waters of Caesar Creek lake enjoying “near peak” foliage color. Not a bad way to stretch the legs and fit in just a little more of the fleeting fall season.
More photos tomorrow…
In queue: Puerto Rico, snorkeling in Vieques, Arizona hiking, Cape Cod, biking the Kokosing Trail…

Gorgeous! This is one of my favorite times of year and I think Midwestern foliage is the best.
Fly Girl: There’s such drama in the change. I love it too!
Really nice post,thank you
Nice site, nice and easy on the eyes and great content too.
Hi Heather- May I use one of your pix, and text on northcountrytrailnew.blogspot.com, with a link back to your blog, of course? The NCT goes through Caesar Creek, has two alternate routes.
If you want to write a little more even and do it as a guest post, that would be awesome.
