It was one of those “excuse me” moments. He was busy doing squirrel-ish things. I was passing by on my way back up the South Kabib Trail in the Grand Canyon.
But we had a moment there at his Grand Canyon address.
Later, I considered the life he lives there in Arizona’s most giant geography claim. Surviving impulsive weather and a rather risky landscape, he lives with inspired views and an ever changing procession of dedicated adventurous explorers. A stalwart spirit.
