Featured Photo: Ridge Riders in Bryce Canyon (Bryce Canyon National Park, Utah, USA)
Everything about Bryce Canyon National Park grabs at the imagination. The sparseness of vegetation bestows stark desert-like drama to the landscape while vivid hoodoos of red, orange, pink and white erupt with Seussical absurdity. Surreal? Absolutely. This photo was taken during our hike along the Queen’s Garden and Navajo Trails. As I caught this group of riders in my lens, I wondered what they would find as they crossed down from the ridge and out of my sight.

The sparsity is beautiful
I love that stripped away landscape too, Graham. Stunning visuals at every turn in that park!
Bryce Canyon – my favorite place! SO much prettier than the Grand Canyon, why is it not known as well?
Don’t want to be selfish, but I’m glad it doesn’t get quite the traffic it deserves, Meg!
