Don’t ask me if the beach chairs were comfortable. I wouldn’t know. As a writer and voice-over talent, I do enough sitting in my home office in front of a computer screen and microphone. Vacation time is never about sitting.
Exhilaration is always the essential travel ingredient. It restores, renews and settles the soul back into the moment at hand. Our recent trip to the Florida Keys filled the cabin fever craving to stretch a few boundaries and explore, around the bend and across the bay. Snorkeling, kayaking, running and hiking took us most everywhere we wanted to go off of Highway 1 from Everglades National Park down to Key West, Florida’s most southern point and to multiple thrills in between.
